Decoder installation on BR39 for N (1:160)Decoder installation on Flieschmann BR39 in N (7139) One beautiful tender Locomotive A beautiful locomotive, which decoder installation is a little test of your patience, slick fingersand at least 4-5 hours free time. I tried to implement it in all keep positive characteristics set out in its production, namely the current collection and eight axes (4 of 4 machine and tender), resulting inslightly more wire, but the short gap between the tender and the machine does not lead to visible and deformation effects of the model.
1. Hollow blasts
2. Make a quick view and refuse to put the decoder in the tender, it must be milledmetal part.
3. Insulate all walls of the cavity with tape and do a test fit. You can see that the wires are rotated to the front and conical cavity is ideal for collection of advances in the assembly of the wires. Conductors distribute them around the latch (long axis, which fixes thecoupling of Tender)
4. Put a flat tape only on the decoder so as not to interrupt the flow of air in the cavity.
6. Blast lamp power plate and below the beam is visibleone disc in the center which is selenium, used as diode. Eliminate it mercilessly.
7. At the opening of the selenium diode (washer) power strip is visible which must be isolated. For the purpose of the bottom of the Lamp's rim put izolation. Replace thebus and assemble cylinders. 8. Proceed to tender.
9. Remove selenium diode disc, desoldering and condenser coil. Plate from the front end, which rests in the diodes I would twist it back. May be cut, but I prefer to use it forsoldering wires then. Plate at the other end of the diode is cut and the second platewhich communicates with the engine board also.
10. Engine blast ... There is a plate that feeds the body and brush the bottom of the engine. Must isolate the engine plate so isolation is set. 11. Since the wires in this performance between the tender and the machine makes a total of 5 (do not remove the two that are factory-set), a gap in the tender does not allow new wires need less processing. Around the axis that connects the tender andcoupling with fine file make two grooves in which lie the additional 3 wires (2 engineand a lamp). We try one to be a little deeper to bring 2 cables. .
12. Start soldering the decoder Red wire to brown, black to black in the locomotive. White wire to the front lamp
Soldering yellow wire for the back lamp. Orange and grey wires to the board of the motor.
13. Assembling the hollow of Tender
White wire is visible in places, but during assembly try to adjust excess length and to collect it in a conical hole in the furnace.
