Decoder installation on BR64 for N (1:160)

Here is some experience with BR 64 Flieschmann in N (1:160).

Used Flieschmann decoder without sound NEM651 (6 pin).

1. On Stub (there are less than it) take off his shell:

2. Engine blast (from the clip on both sides):

3. Desoldering the capacitor (1) under the engine and the coil (2) above. Andunsolder wires to the bulb. Should be discontinued plate (3). To break is necessary tomake additional fixation of the plate itself because. As shown in the next picture I first cut and then I found .. so have a quick solder for this purpose. before you cut the hole drilling

4. For fixation in the opening set a foot from simple resistor is used, which at one end is flatten out and bended.

5. Stabbing upwards through the hole, cutting and bend in the opposite direction of the lower curve

6. Soldering fixative and interrupt latch plate, leaving 2-3 mm between the two parts

7. Put the engine and do a quick sample that is collected decoder in the cavity of the car.

8. To avoid red isolation (only one I have) to be seen do a quick painting withpermanent marker ... by repeating the exercise and after fixation of the decoder to the motor.

9. Solder the decoder
Red-where the wires were soldered to the bulb;
black, the front end of the cut plate;
gray-cut rear edge of plate to the engine;
orange, the other end of the engine (which was the coil);
white-red of the bulb put hose insulation and use fixed buds through the cable and the coil bed, which eliminated;
yellow-trim can be next to the board because there is no locomotive rear lights and it is not in use ..

10. Fit insulation in the cavity of the coil or turn in forward position of the picture;

11. Blind hollow .. and enjoy
