Locomotive engine is a production of the old three-pole, which introduces some inconvenience in processing.

1. Open the lokomotive

2. Processing engine. Not accidentally mentioned in the beginning that the old engineproduction because there is a significant problem if you do not know can causeburning of the decoder. On one brush plate is shifting the voltage of the motor, set screws in the frame of the locomotive. Quite annoying, but easy to fix. With the scalpelcut the plate, which is quite thin. The procedure is necessary to remove the engineand not just because of this, but will be discussed in the following steps which stillrequires the dismantling.

3. Unsolder the two coils, capacitors and wire (black) power rear bulb. That capacitoris the second reason for dismantling the engine, since it is located under the motor shaft.

4. The processing power of the back plate bulb is because there is no place for the decoder in the cab. With the scalpel cut so as to keep one catch the bus. Because it is plastic and is quite hard, when you mark with a scalpel where the cut to go with the chisel.

5. Suspension of bus headlights. Pick a place after the opening to have two fixed points on the bus after the cut.

6. Processing engine. Because the decoder is upon it, and sticking with the rotor halfmm above the stator, it is necessary to build the basis on which to lie decoder. For this purpose, use of tape lamination on both sides. Of course you can use thick foamtape, but I can isolate precisely controlled height / clearance above the rotor. Finallyput the power bus and taillights.

7. Over the last layer insulates put double sided adhesive tape supplied to thedecoder and the decoder stick to it. Solder and wire.

8. On the ceiling of the cockpit tape put that paint with permanent marker, becausethe ceiling is metal and do not want problems and short circuits.

9. After mounting the hollow visible shortcomings: wires, encrusted tape .... and corrections follow

10. The result of reshuffling and black wires with the permanent marker is notstunning, but at least it is irritating as before.

And to congratulate another digitized beast.
